Alto / Soprano Saxophone / Flute

Hans Himelein has been playing in the Adirondack Jazz Orchestra since 2009. Hans holds a BA in music from Plattsburgh State. He also attended Indiana University where he took classes in the Jazz Studies department. Hans often plays in the pit for local musicals, and sometimes plays in a jazz group called Zinky and the Billtones. Hans is a retired math teacher. He lives in New Russia with his lovely wife and her three crazy dogs.
